Why Neuroscience?
Those who suffer from neurological disorders know too well their devastating effects. Whether it's Alzheimer's,
Parkinson's disease, spinal trauma or brain cancer, over 90 million individuals are afflicted with a neurological condition.
Although this number is on the rise, the prospects for improved treatments have never been more promising. New technologies
and biologic advances are providing researchers and clinicians with the tools and techniques to improve outcomes and, in some
cases, even cures. Never has the field of neuroscience had so many opportunities.
